ChickTech is a national non-profit organization that engages women and girls in the technology industry, while working to envision and create a better technology culture for all. Our current focus is facilitating hands-on technology-centric workshops to empower, support, and increase the confidence of women and girls. Through our events, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing high tech industry. Here in Portland, we do events focused on both ChickTech: Career and ChickTech: High School, a year-long program that finds high school girls who have not been involved with technology projects before and gives them the opportunity to fall in love with it, like we have!

ChickTech is a registered 501(c)3. Our tax ID is 46-3780208.

Our Vision

ChickTech is a multi-generational community supporting women and girls to become and remain technology creators.

Our Mission

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.
