ChickTech: High School is a year-long series of opportunities for 150 young women in the Portland Metro Area, providing hands-on workshops, mentoring, and internship opportunities. Each ChickTech: High School year begins with the High School Kickoff, a hands-on technology learning event for 150 high school girls. After Kickoff, students are welcome to participate in monthly technology workshops from December-May.

ChickTech: High School monthly workshops are designed to deepen high school participants learning. Monthly workshops are hosted on weekends or school holidays. ChickTech provides free workshops, free food, free transportation, and free childcare when requested. Workshops are hosted at technology companies throughout the Portland Metro Region. Below are some examples of monthly workshops from ChickTech Portland’s 2018-2018 year.
